Motors & Controls

For each type of window treatment there is a motor and for each motor there is a complementing control device. Here are some of the Somfy and Hunter Douglas motors and controls we use and offer to our customers.

Somfy Motor Specifics

	Altus 50 RTS Motor This motor is the standard AC motor for roller shades or roman shades window coverings. This motor has a built in radio control feature without an antenna. The motor is programmed to go up, down and stop an additional intermediate stop feature can be programmed with the “my” button.
	ILT 50 RTS Motor This motor is your standard network motor for roller shade or roman shade window covering applications. When used in a digital network control system, it's possible to receive feedback as to the position of the window covering in the home. This motor is great for home automation systems with the intelligence to relay information back to the key/control pad. If you are in another room and you want to open/close a shade in another room using your home automation control pad you can close it while watching it raise up on the touch pad.
	Sonesse™ 50 RTS Motor The Sonesse 50 is the quietest AC motor Somfy offers for interior window coverings. It is commonly used in roller shades, roman shades. The Sonesse 50 motor is available with built-in Radio Technology Somfy® and infrared or may be controlled via the Somfy Digital Network.
	Sonesse™ 30 RTS Motor The Sonesse 30 is Somfy’s quietest DC motor for interior roller shade and roman shade window coverings. This motor can be operated by use of a battery wand and or plug-in wall power supply. The Sonesse 30 motor is available with built-in Radio Technology Somfy®.
	Tilt WireFree™ RTS Motor This wirefree motor can be battery operated or powered by a table top power supply. If you are looking for the perfect quiet choice to operate your horizontal wood or faux blinds this is it. One of the special features of this motor is that it has a built-in encoder for precise alignment of blind slats and is available with infrared or Radio Technology Somfy®.
	Cord Lift WireFree™ RTS Motor The Cord Lift wirefree motor can be battery operated or powered by a table top power supply. This motor is used to motorize easyrise/continuous cord operated pleated/cellular shades as-well-as in some sky light shades. This motor comes with a built-in RF radio control option.
	Glystro® RTS Motor The Glystro motor was designed for most types and sizes of draperies up to 39ft. and 110 lbs. This motor comes ready to communicate with a remote control via IR or RF and has the ability to integrate in with a home automation system via the Somfy (URTSI) universal remote controls. One of the specialty features of this motor/track is it also offers manual operation without damaging the drapery or the motor.

Somfy Control Specifics

	Chronis Comfort RTS Timer The Chronis Comfort RTS timer was developed for interior and exterior window coverings and meant to raise or lower the treatments at various times of the day. This device will help to manage heat gain in summer months and heat loss during the winter. It has a built-in security function which allows the user to set the timer to operate their shades at a different time from one day to the next, creating a lived in look even while occupants are away from their home. Individual or group control possible with 4 timed functions per day. It also offers the possible to program weekly or daily timed functions.
	Impresario Chronis RTS Timer The Impresario Chronis RTS time creates scenarios and runs them in manual or automatic mode. It allows you to create and schedule recurrent situations (morning, evening, home theatre etc.) in the form of scenarios. Each scenario controls different shades simultaneously (rolling shutters, blinds, shades, awnings etc.) no matter where they are. You can create up to 16 "scenarios" using up to 40 motorized products selected according to time of day, season or activity. Each motorized product can go up or down or return to its "my" favorite position independently of all the others. Using the built-in clock, you can schedule the pre-defined scenarios as you choose, with up to 4 scenarios per day. The Automatic/Manual function can override the scheduled programming at any time. Choice of 2 finishes (Silver and Lounge).
	Sunis Indoor WireFree™ RTS Sun Sensor The Sunis Indoor automatically adjusts your window coverings to the changing sunlight providing energy savings throughout the day. With its compact design the Sunis Indoor WireFree blends in easily with any interior décor and may be mounted on the window or table for installation flexibility.
	Telis Modulis 5 RTS Remote The Telis Modulis 5 is the industry's first dimmer for natural light with central scroll wheel for precise adjustment of horizontal blind slats. It offers five channels and provides control of five individual window coverings or five individual groups of window coverings. The highlighted “my” button provides easy access to a preferred position. Its unique design provides a hanger and pin allowing it to mount on the wall for easy storage and access.
	Telis 1 and 5 RTS Remote The Telis 1 and 5 is a convenient push button control for one to five window coverings or one to five groups of window coverings. It offers an easy to use up, down and stop functions and an intermediate stop feature. There are 4 finishes choices for one to choose from (Pure, Silver, Lounge and Patio).
	DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS Single Channel or 5channel Wall Switch The DecoFlex wireless wall switch comes with built in Radio Technology Somfy® that may be personalized for intuitive control of one to five window coverings or one to five groups of window coverings. It offers an easy to use up, down and stop functions and "my" favorite position on each channel. This switch has been designed to sit independently or next to an existing light switch. There are three finish choices (White, Ivory and Black).

Hunter Douglas motorized window treatments:

Motorized Window Treatments also works with Hunter Douglas Platinum Technology 2.0 motor/product options. Platinum technology is the only system that offers a consumer the ability to control their window treatments via IR or RF from the same remote control. Platinum Technology is a proprietary product of Hunter Douglas and is available only in the Hunter Douglas products. There are two forms of controls for Hunter Douglas products. One is their 4channel remote control and the other is a hard wired wall switch which allows you to operate your shades at the push of a button or through the use of their Platinum Technology remote control.
